Due to controversy regarding early neuter/spay, you may choose when to neuter your kitten, but it must be done no later than 12 months of age. This will maximize access to hormones for bone density, but prevent unwanted sexual maturity behaviours, such as spraying urine and calling day and night.

You must agree to never declaw your kitten. Trimming nails takes less than 5 minutes. There is no need to mutilate your kitten and create unnecessary health and behaviour issues. Declawing is also illegal in Ontario, Canada.
